A major retail led redevelopment on a prominent edge of city centre site. The masterplan will regenerate the neglected eastern end of the Headrow and link the city centre to the rapidly changing Quarry Hill area. The project presented the challenge of integrating large scale modern retail development into an established historic townscape.

  We had been involved in various iterations of designs for the site since 2005. We provided design development advice and Townscape and Visual Impact Assessment reports.
• Outcome:
  Outline planning permission granted in 2011. Victoria Gate, the first phase of the masterplan, was completed in 2016.
